Member institutions are invited to register two trainees (one graduate student and one postdoctoral fellow, if applicable) from each T32, or other cancer-related training program, to participate in the Annual Retreat. Trainees may participate even if no faculty are able to attend.
Retreat programming for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows include:

- Speed Mentoring – meet with faculty mentors from medical schools across the country to discuss topics such as career paths, research, work-life balance, etc.
- Workshops – various workshop topics offered to improve soft skills, well being, etc.
