Appropriate shoes for court play are required. Shuttle buses will be available for transportation between the airport, Chicken N Pickle and the Hyatt Hill Country Resort.
Poster Session Event, Saturday, October 22
In-person trainees will present their posters for Best Graduate Student and Best Postdoc Poster cash awards on Saturday afternoon. Posters will be hung on Friday evening when trainees will have the opportunity to review their peer’s posters after the keynote dinner. All attending trainees are expected to participate in this event by presenting a poster. Abstract submission begins September 26.
Speed Mentoring Event, Sunday, October 23
Here’s your chance to meet new mentors from outside your institution! In-person trainees will participate in three rounds of mentoring with pre-assigned mentors on Sunday morning. Trainees will be asked to select three mentors to meet, questions or topics they are interested in discussing, and provide their current research and career goals in advance; submission portal opens September 26. All attending trainees are expected to participate in this event.
Session Workshops on F & K Awards, Chalk Talks, and CV development, Saturday, October 22
Learn important information on the F and K award submission process. (If you have received an F or K already, we’d like your input!)
Get started on selling your science through chalks talks – find out the important details, then practice among your peers.
